Joaquín Alarcón
Founder, President & CEO
27 years of experience in the sector, including 20 years in senior positions in a multinational technological company focused on renewable energies. Formerly CEO and Member of the Board of Directors where he was responsible for a P&L of US$300 million. During his tenure, the company financed and invested over $1.0 billion in new industrial projects. Deep knowledge of the global ethanol business and very well known in the industry with an extensive network of contacts acquired for more than 15 years. MSc in Chemical Engineering, MSc in Environmental Management and Engineering, and an MBA.
Fernando González Torres
COO
Certified Project Management Professional since 2012 by the Project Management Institute (PMI). In-depth knowledge and experience of managing EPC, engineering, and energy projects, with a focus on Biofuels and biomass industry, Budget and schedule management, Sustainability criteria: emissions, social impacts, health, and safety. Management Systems: ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 14064 (Greenhouse Gas Emissions), ISO 9001 (Quality), OHSAS 18000 (Health & Safety), and SA 8000 (Corporate Social Responsibility) implemented and certified in different businesses. He has +16 years of experience and of those, more than 7 years in the sugar and ethanol processing and has been responsible for the implementation of the cane straw to energy and QS&E systems for a large sugar cane cluster. He holds an MS in Chemical Engineering and graduate studies in Quality, Safety, and Environmental management.
José Manuel Coll Hernández
Director Corporate Development & CFO
15-year experience in financing and investing in large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.
José has worked as a project finance banker, advisor, industrial sponsor and investor in projects in Europe, USA and Latin America. SME general management and international business experience.
Double Master Degree in Business Administration and Law from ICADE E-3, and Executive Master in International Business Law.
Antonio J. Pérez Muñóz
Engineering Manager
MSc Industrial Engineer, Managers Development Program (MDP) in IE-Unión Fenosa. More than 30 years of experience in industrial installations as plant manager in charge of maintenance and investments. Specialist in gas turbines and installations of energy production as well as in implementation of power plants in Spain and abroad.
Marta Hernández Tápias
Chemical Engineer - Demonstrator Plant Manager
Chemical Engineer, Master in Chemical Environmental Technology and Ph.D. in “Experimental study and kinetic production from ethanol and butanol conversion over catalysts based in Pd”. More than 10 years of experience in R&D and Innovation in companies such as AICIA and CTAER in which she was in charge of a plant at laboratory scale to develop biorefinery catalyst processes. Marta led the start-up and maintenance of a plant at laboratory scale, reporting results in real-time and actively participating in the decision-making.
