Catalyxx is proud to announce the launch of its first-of-a-kind industrial-scale project (FOAK), marking a significant milestone in scaling our innovative technology to an industrial level. This flagship project represents a crucial advancement in our mission to lead the transformation towards sustainable and efficient solutions in the chemical industry.
The commencement of this project focuses on the development of the initial engineering phase, a critical step to ensure the success and efficiency of the project. To execute this pivotal phase, Catalyxx is working with leading engineering and technology energy transition company Technip Energies.

The project will focus on the industrial production of bio-based drop-in intermediate chemicals (butanol, hexanol, octanol and decanol) using Catalyxx’s unique and proven catalytic technology with the aim of offering a fully sustainable and cost competitive alternative to the existing fossil-based chemicals in the market. This development will not only boost Catalyxx’s production capacity but also significantly contribute to save more than 47,500 CO2 tons per year and to decarbonize downstream the chemical value chain.
